Having grown up in North Queensland, Mark understands what it means to be a part of a community, the importance of giving back to community, and the value of being able to access high quality disability services in regional Queensland.
Mark’s formal qualification of a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy is combined with over a decade of experience, as well as holding a number of senior and management roles across both Townsville and Cairns. Mark is also a qualified Occupational Therapy Driving Assessor.
Mark is experienced in a variety of clinical settings, having worked with a number of insurance schemes (i.e. NDIS, WorkCover QLD), and holds particular interests in neurodiversity-affirming practice and Functional Capacity Assessments. His professional values of integrity, respect and compassion underpin Remarkable OT's mission - to improve the quality of life of people with a disability in Far North QLD.
